Which Model is Right for You?

1. Model WITHOUT BEC (Direct Voltage Pass-Through)

• What it does: It passes power directly from your source to all connected accessories without changing the voltage.

• Best for:

  • High-Voltage (HV) setups: If you are running high-voltage servos and fans that are already rated to handle your battery's direct voltage (e.g., direct 2S-4S LiPo power).

  • Using your ESC’s internal BEC: Perfect if you just want to split and organize the power already coming from your receiver/ESC without adding complexity.

• Benefit: Ultra-lightweight, zero heat generation, and maximum direct power.

2. Model WITH BEC (Built-In Voltage Regulator)

• What it does: It takes high voltage from your main battery (up to 12s) and steps it down to a safe, regulated voltage (e.g., 6V, 7.4V, or 8.4V) for your accessories.

• Best for:

  • Preventing Brownouts: If your ESC has a weak internal BEC and you run multiple power-hungry 30mm/40mm cooling fans or heavy-duty servos.

  • Mixed-voltage setups: Ideal if your main battery is high voltage (3S to 12S LiPo) but your accessories (fans/lights) only support standard 6V or 7.4V.

• Benefit: Maximum safety. Isolates your receiver entirely, ensuring it never loses power, while delivering stable amperage to your accessories.
