No Modifications needed, non destructive light system.

Lights are pre wired, resistor soldered on every LED and insulated.

Receiver Plug Soldered to the Cable, you don't need to solder anything. Just peal the 

cables, put them together, heat shrink it and ready to go!

As you can see it in the video, is really easy and it doesn't require any special skills.
