Turn any beach, field or snow day into a paddle day.
Paddle tires change how your RC car feels. Sand stops being a trap and becomes a playground. Your truck digs in, launches off dunes and throws rooster tails nobody at the beach will forget. Instead of fitting your car to an off-the-shelf tire, these are made for your car.
Every set is designed in our free Paddle Tires Creator at tools.polocreations.com. You enter your stock tire size, choose how aggressive you want them, and see the result in 3D right away. Then you pick how you get them:
- Print them yourself. Download your custom STL by email and print it in TPU.
- Let us print them. Order them here and we 3D print them in tough, flexible black TPU and ship them to you.
Why riders love them
- They slip over your existing stock tire, so you keep your wheels and hubs.
- They fit snug, because they're shaped around your exact tire size.
- You decide the style, from mild sand paddles to full scoop monsters.
- They work on everything from mini cars like the Losi Mini up to 6S bashers like the Arrma Typhon.
- You can save your design and come back to it later, or order the same one again.
Options: a pair (2 tires) or a full set (4 tires), printed by us in black TPU, or Print it yourself – FREE STL.
FREE option: design your paddle tires at tools.polocreations.com and get your STL by email for free. Nothing is shipped with this option.
Paddle Tires Creator: feature guide
- Tire diameter (30–250 mm): The outer diameter of your stock tire. Measure it across the tread so the paddle tire wraps it perfectly.
- Tire width (15–120 mm): The width of your stock tire's tread.
- Fit / clearance (−1 to 2 mm): How tight it sits. Lower values give a tighter grip on the stock tire, and higher values make it easier to slip on.
- Upper lip (0–25 mm): The edge that hooks over the outer side of the tire and keeps the paddle tire from walking off. Set it to 0 if you don't want one.
- Lip angle (0–60°): The angle of the upper lip. More angle hugs the tire's shoulder better. It's disabled when the upper lip is set to 0.
- Lower lip (0–25 mm): The edge on the inner side of the tire. You set it separately from the upper lip, so you can make one side bigger than the other.
- Wall thickness (0.4–3 mm): How thick the shell around the tire is. A thinner shell is lighter and more flexible, and a thicker one is tougher for heavy cars.
- Number of paddles (0–36): More paddles give smoother traction, and fewer, bigger paddles throw more sand. At 0 you get a smooth shell.
- Paddle height (2–30 mm): How far the paddles stick out. Taller paddles dig deeper in soft sand and snow.
- Curved paddles and curve depth: Curved paddles work like scoops and grab more sand than straight ones. Curve depth controls how deep the scoop is.
- Side webs: Reinforcements that join the paddles to the sides, for extra strength and stiffness on powerful cars.
- Bolt holes (2–8) and nut style: Optional holes for bolting the paddle tire to the wheel so it never spins on the rim. You can choose a captive nut slot, a nut pocket on the face, or self-tapping screws.
- Detail / smoothness: The resolution of the 3D model. Higher values give smoother curves and lower values give smaller, faster files.
- Live 3D preview: You can spin and zoom your design and see every change instantly.
- Save your project: Your design and measurements are stored, so you can edit or reorder them later.
- Get your STL by email: Your print-ready file arrives in your inbox.
- Order it printed: You can skip the printer and we'll make it for you.
